Cooperative Extension’s centennial celebration is almost here

May 19: Centennial dinner, celebration
Remember to register for the May 19 statewide dinner and centennial celebration at the N.C. State Fairgrounds Expo Center, Raleigh, 6-8 p.m. Be sure to invite your stakeholders and wear employee name tags to the dinner.

May 20: Legislative visits and proclamation signing

Schedule appointments now to visit your representatives in Raleigh between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. Each county planning legislative visits should send at least one representative to legislative advocacy training May 19, McKimmon Center, Raleigh, 1-4 p.m. Register your representative and delegation by May 1:

At 1 p.m. May 20, North Carolina Cooperative Extension will sign “A New Promise for A New Century” at the N.C. Museum of History, across the street from the legislative building. This signing will lay the groundwork for another century of service to the people of North Carolina. Please join us after your legislative visits.
